STAND Internship
The STAND intern will work with the STAND staff and Student Leadership Team and coordinate grassroots campaigns, develop materials and strategy, and manage logistics.
Major Responsibilities
- Developing materials and strategy for specific STAND campaigns
- Coordinating campaign logistics with the STAND Leadership Team
- Updating STAND's website
- Being the first response to student grassroots inquiries
Helpful Experience
- An excellent verbal and written command of English
- Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Internet applications) are essential
- Interest and experience in human rights advocacy desirable, particularly related to genocide and Darfur
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and reliable
