GI-NET actively tracks legislation before the U.S. Congress that can help to end to the ongoing conflicts in Burma, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan. Urge your Senator to co-sponsor Senate Concurrent Resolution 71

On August 5, 2010 Senators Feingold and Collins introduced a concurrent resolution in support of
genocide and mass atrocity prevention. The resolution recognizes “the United States national interest in
helping to prevent and mitigate acts of genocide and other mass atrocities against civilians, and
supporting and encouraging efforts to develop a whole of government approach to prevent and mitigate
such acts.”  Urge your Senator to co-sponsor S.Con.Res.71.  Learn more.
