The STAND intern will work with the STAND staff and Student Leadership Team and coordinate grassroots campaigns, develop materials and strategy, and manage logistics.

Major Responsibilities

• Developing materials and strategy for specific STAND campaigns
• Coordinating campaign logistics with the STAND Leadership Team
• Updating STAND's website
• Being the first response to student grassroots inquiries

Helpful Experience

• An excellent verbal and written command of English
• Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Internet applications) are essential
• Interest and experience in human rights advocacy desirable, particularly related to genocide and Darfur
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and reliable
