President Bush must implement SADA by April 29

On Dec. 31, President Bush signed the Sudan Accountability and Divestment Act [1] (SADA) in to law, following the unanimous passage of the bill by both houses of Congress. The president was given 120 days since the signing of SADA in order to sign the bill. Time's almost up — 120 days expires on Monday, April 29.

With the renewal of violence in Darfur [2], it's more important than ever that the U.S. put economic pressure on the government of Sudan to end the genocide. Send a message to President Bush [2] to stick to his promises by implementing SADA by April 29.
