- Africa Action The Campaign to Stop Genocide in Darfur is calling on President Bush to assert U.S. leadership in support of a multinational intervention to stop the ongoing violence.
- Amnesty International Amnesty International is calling on the UN Security Council to urgently deploy a strong UN mission in Darfur, authorized to use force to protect civilians.
- ENOUGH ENOUGH Project's mission is to stop and prevent genocide and mass atrocities by promoting Peace, providing Protection, and Punishing the perpetrators. ENOUGH Project uses field and policy analysis and strong policy advocacy to empower a growing activist movement for change.
- Eric Reeves Eric Reeves is Professor of English Language and Literature at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. He has spent the past eight years working full-time as a Sudan researcher and analyst, publishing extensively both in the US and internationally. He has testified several times before the Congress, has lectured widely in academic settings, and has served as a consultant to a number of human rights and humanitarian organizations operating in Sudan. Working independently, he has written on all aspects of Sudan's recent history. He has recently received a generous grant from the Humanity First Initiative of the Omidyar Network to support his research and travel. The flexibility of Smith College has allowed him to take a number of semesters as leave without pay. His book about Darfur ("A Long Day's Dying: Critical Moments in the Darfur Genocide") will appear in March/April 2007 (available here). He is also at work on a longer-range project surveying the international response to ongoing war and human destruction in Sudan over the past 18 years ("Sudan — Suffering a Long Way Off").
- Human Rights Watch Human Rights Watch works to document and end human rights abuses in Darfur.
- International Crisis Group The International Crisis Group (Crisis Group) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, with over 130 staff members on five continents, working through field-based analysis and high-level advocacy to prevent and resolve deadly conflict.
- Physicians for Human Rights PHR's Darfur Survival Campaign mobilizes health professionals, students, and members of the public to press for urgently needed security in Darfur, Sudan, including augmented African Union troops and a UN peacekeeping force of 20,000, as authorized by UN Security Council Resolution 1706. In addition, the campaign insists on compensation and restitution for survivors.
- Refugees International Refugees International generates lifesaving humanitarian assistance and protection for displaced people around the world and works to end the conditions that create displacement.
- Save Darfur The Save Darfur Coalition's mission is to raise public awareness about the ongoing genocide in Darfur and to mobilize a unified response to the atrocities that threaten the lives of two million people in the Darfur region.
- Sudan Divestment Task Force As the coordinating entity for the Sudan divestment movement, the Sudan Divestment Task Force, a project of the Genocide Intervention Network, supports Sudan divestment campaigns at the university, city, state, national, and asset manager levels. Our organization provides all of the advocacy and policy support needed to adopt and implement targeted Sudan divestment legislation, including outreach to grassroots activists, legislators, and state retirement systems. The Sudan Divestment Task Force also provides company research and corporate engagement assistance to hundreds of fiduciaries worldwide, representing more than $1.5 trillion in total assets.
