Monthly Giving: Over Time, a Little Donation Can Do a Lot!

What can you do with $7?  Well, if I had $7, I could spend it on any one of the wonderful CDs at the Best Buy bargain bin (Best of Kenny Rogers, anyone?) or 1.5 spicy tuna sushi rolls.  Not a whole lot of bang for your buck, but over time $7 can add up pretty quickly!

For example, if I give $7 to GI-NET every month for one year, that's $84.  $84 can help a Darfurian woman start an income-generating project as an alternative to leaving her camp to collect firewood, where she risks rape.

If I give $10 every month, that's $120 per year.  $120 empowers 120 people with the talking points and a free call to their elected officials on the 1-800 GENOCIDE hotline.

One of our supporters, Mr. Kenneth Kramer, has sent a donation to GI-NET every month since 2005.  His monthly gifts have amounted to the equivalent of providing radio sets to three entire Burmese villages to help them receive early warning of imminent attacks by the military army.  That's a lot of lives protected thanks to Mr. Kramer's long-term commitment to GI-NET. We are so grateful for his support of our work and encourage you to consider making a monthly contribution as well.

It's easy to do - just visit our donate page: www.genocideintervention.net/donate and sign up.  As Kenneth Kramer has shown us, every gift, no matter the size, can go a long way!
