Interview: Moreno-Ocampo praises the anti-genocide community

Luis Moreno-Ocampo has grabbed headlines the past two weeks with the stunning announcement that he and the International Criminal Court are seeking an arrest warrant for Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. Dozens of world figures have weighed in on the indictment, but many activists may wonder what role they as individuals have in making the wheels of international power spin.
During his last trip to the United States, Mr. Moreno-Ocampo stopped by the Center for American Progress and the Genocide Intervention Network's own Janessa Goldbeck had an opportunity to sit down and ask him that very question. Here, in the Lead Prosecutor's own words is his praise for the Darfur grassroots activism movement:
