Engagement Strategy

Genocide Intervention Network is working with partners to ensure the full deployment of the UNAMID peacekeeping mission, the effective implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement and successful peace talks to end the Darfur crisis.

Prior to 2009, Genocide Intervention Network funded civilian protection projects on the ground, working to develop standards for United Nations Formed Police Units as well as implementing income-generating activities to allow women to purchase firewood instead of risking their safety through its collection.
